Why we started
AI search is changing how people find businesses — all businesses. When a consumer asks ChatGPT "best Italian restaurant near me," when a procurement manager asks Perplexity "which CRM handles international compliance," or when a business owner asks an AI assistant "best accounting firm for small companies" — the AI doesn't look at your Google Ads or your SEO rankings. It pulls from a completely different set of signals.
We started Found by AI because we saw businesses of every size — local shops, national brands, B2B service providers, SaaS companies — becoming invisible to this new wave of search. Businesses that had spent years building their online presence were suddenly nowhere to be found when people used AI to make decisions.
That felt like a problem worth solving. So we built a platform that shows businesses where they stand in AI search, tells them what to do about it, and — if they want — creates the content that gets them cited. The goal is simple: when AI recommends a business in your category, it should be yours.

Started in digital marketing, moved into web development, then went deep on AI and automation. Built the first version of our monitoring engine and designed the playbook methodology from scratch. Obsessed with making complex AI data actionable — because a dashboard nobody acts on is just a screen.

Monitoring is the foundation. Every action — whether it's a playbook recommendation you implement on your site or content we publish to amplify your reach — shows up in your dashboard. When your mention rate goes up, you see it. When it doesn't, you see that too. We'd rather know what works than guess.
Your numbers, not a template
We don't hand out the same playbook twice. If your competitor keeps getting cited on Perplexity for a query you should own, that shows up in your data — and your playbook tells you what to do about it. Generic advice is everywhere. Specific, prioritised actions are what actually move the needle.
Useful over urgent
AI search moves fast, and plenty of people will try to make you feel behind. We'd rather tell you what matters for your business right now. Some trends are genuinely important.
